Banana Milk Recipe

If you have never heard of banana milk... well you have now!

One of the favorites of a Korean person is a banana milk.. It's very famous in South Korea and some other places in Asia too.. and this is what it looks like..

   

I remember when I was a kid, I used to drink these all the time.. and never got enough of them. And then.......I moved to the US and never got to taste them again. T^T It was until last December 29th, when we went to Las Vegas, we visited Greenland market and found banana milks!!! They were so good...... my childhood memory washed over me as I took a sip of it.... 

So...as I was staying home.. doing nothing during the summer.. I thought of my favorite drink and wanted to make my own^^

The recipe is very easy and the taste is great... not the flavor of the real banana milk but, it was still okay^^ I think best recipes are the ones that are easy to make and still taste good... so. Here's the recipe..

*Makes about 3-4 cups of banana milk

INGREDIENTS

3 ripe bananas
2 cups of milk

1 Tbs of honey

2 tsp of agave nectar/sugar (optional for more sweetening)

1. Finely chop the bananas 

2. put them into a mixer

3. add milk, honey, and agave or sugar..

DONE!

                      

Live in Hope Diary -December~May

As I spent 3 hours posting random things on my blog last night....or in the middle of the night, I would say... I couldn't wait to post another one this morning!

I was wondering about what to blog about today.. and I decided to post about my diary.. Usually, people don't show their personal journals in public .... but, I thought that I didn't really have anything to hide so lol. My best friend actually writes in my diary too.... So today, I will show what we have done in our free time^^

I got this from Target last year... it's not actually designed as a diary with monthly planner formats and daily planner stuff.. But I drew in the lines and made it as one.

PROS- writes very smoothly like gell, lots of ink to use, dries quickly, comes in lots of different colors
CONS- expensive. 

NANO TECH pen
thickness= 0.3
PROS-some work
CONS-some don't... 

UNI-BALL SIGNO DX pen
thickness= 0.5
PROS- writes very smoothly, dries quickly
CONS- none

MORNING GLORY MACH3 pen
thickness= 0.38
PROS- lots of ink to use
CONS- sometimes bleeds through a paper

ZEBRA OPTEX CARE pen..
These are very useful in diaries and decorating cards... the top part of the pen, is a highlighter and the bottom tip is like a very thin marker....
PROS- two sided(used for highlighter and just a thin marker)
CONS- not many colors available, very expensive

It's just a regular-sized pen...with lots of Japanese words

PROS- writes very smoothly, good grip
CONS- only 3 colors available, expensive..

OKAY!! so you could probably see that I have lots of free time... writing/spending hours on  my diary... buying pens....blogging about all of it.... lol. Most of these pens are from other countries but I've seen some similar ones at Target... but they seemed really expensive.

My friend and I are still working on our diary... for June and so on.... I will post new pictures when we are finally finished!!!!!

Why I LOVE baggy shirts..

ICHIGO MILK FLAVOR SERIES

It's been a very long time since I posted my first one! So today, I thought I would blog about something..



I was searching through some pictures today..and I found this picture that looked somewhat like a Strawberry milk candy bag... I thought it was a candy bag until I read through this description which said it was a soap.... a soap that smelled like strawberry milk.. >_<



This is like the coolest thing ever!
Nobody would have ever thought that there would be a soap inside this bag... unless you're Japanese and can read the label.. I mean it says Ichigo Milk Flavor.... people would think this is a candy bag.



I got interested in this all of a sudden, so I decided to do some more searching about these. As I looked through some information, I found out that there are not only soaps, there are creams and body washes as well o.O


So. This is the Ichigo(strawberry) Milk Flavor Series.
Starting from the left-----> body cream, body wash, soap, .....and bath powder isn't shown.. I couldn't find pictures with all the products.. T^T


People have said that the smell is very sweet and strawberry milk-like.. ♥_♥
I seriously want them all.


Okay, first the BODY CREAM-



I'm guessing that it's just like any lotion in Bath and Body Works... BUT prettier and with a strawberry milk scent. This website was selling this body cream for $39.37....

I seriously want to open the bottle and sniff the thing. (O_O)

The look of it is really cute.. strawberry stamped on top of a donut. Lol. Ahhh if only I could have a sniff of this too.



Now finally, the BATH POWDER.. (bath powder s)-



These things look like facial masks..... maybe they should make facial masks next time. AHH. It would smell so good on your face!


No wonder these things are popular in Japan.... I mean, when I first looked at it, I felt like buying them.. not even knowing what they really were. Some people not in Japan even order these things for 50 bucks.. just to smell the strawberry milk scent I guess. Why can't they just use regular body creams and washes and soaps from Bath  and Body Works.. or Dove..? cuz, these things smell like strawberry milk..... Those Japanese.. are so smart..



Someday.... I'll get it.
